INTRODUCE

Hai Phong Plastic and Mechanical Joint Stock Company was officially established under Decision No. 3214/QD-UB dated November 19, 2001, of the People’s Committee of Hai Phong city with the original name “MOTORBIKE PARTS FACTORY”.

Then, along with the expansion of production scale, according to Circular No. 08/BKH-DN dated June 11, 1997 of the Ministry of Planning and Investment guiding Decree 50/CP dated August 28, 1996 of the government: “On the establishment, reorganization, dissolution and bankruptcy of State-owned enterprises” decided to change the name of the Factory to “PLASTIC AND MECHANICAL FACTORY”.

In 2005, with the direction of the corporation’s economic development strategy, along with the general economic growth of the whole country, the Company transformed into an equitized enterprise and changed its name to “PLASTIC AND MECHANICAL JOINT STOCK COMPANY”. HAI PHONG GAS”
